These Terms & Conditions govern your purchase and use of TagWhite products, the TagWhite mobile application, QR safety tags, Mobile Theft Protection and related services provided by Refly Technology.
By purchasing, activating or using TagWhite products or services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, purchasing, activating or using TagWhite products, the TagWhite mobile application or related services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the applicable TagWhite products or services.
2. TagWhite Services
TagWhite provides QR-based safety and contact functionality designed to help a person who scans a supported TagWhite QR tag contact the registered owner or configured emergency contact without requiring the owner's personal mobile number to be publicly displayed.
TagWhite may also provide additional application features and services, including optional Mobile Theft Protection.
Availability and operation of individual features may depend on internet connectivity, mobile networks, telecom services, device capabilities, operating-system permissions, hosting infrastructure, third-party services and the status of the relevant TagWhite product or service.
3. Account and User Information
Users are responsible for providing accurate and current registration, contact, delivery and activation information where required.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security of your account and device and for notifying TagWhite if you become aware of unauthorized use of your account.
4. QR Tags and Contact Features
TagWhite QR tags are designed to provide a convenient way for another person to contact the registered owner or configured emergency contact in supported situations.
The availability of QR, calling or contact functionality may depend on the status of the TagWhite tag, internet connectivity, telecom services, third-party infrastructure and applicable service limits.
TagWhite may restrict or disable functionality when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, maintenance, legal compliance or service eligibility.
5. Mobile Theft Protection
Mobile Theft Protection is an optional TagWhite feature that a user may choose to enable on a supported Android device.
When properly enabled and the necessary Android permissions are granted, Mobile Theft Protection may detect repeated unauthorized device unlock attempts and initiate a theft alert. The feature may obtain the protected phone's location and provide location information to the user's paired trusted device.
It does not guarantee prevention or recovery of a lost or stolen device. Its operation may depend on device settings, Android permissions, internet connectivity, location availability, battery status and other technical conditions.
Users are responsible for maintaining the permissions and settings required for Mobile Theft Protection to operate. Disabling required permissions or device settings may prevent some or all of the feature from functioning.
6. Orders and Payments
Orders for physical TagWhite products are subject to successful payment, product availability and verification where required.
Prices, applicable charges and available payment methods are displayed during the relevant purchase process.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment service providers. Their own terms and conditions may also apply to payment processing.
7. Mobile Theft Protection Purchases
Eligible digital services or features purchased through the TagWhite Android application, including paid Mobile Theft Protection access where offered, may be processed through Google Play.
Such purchases are also subject to applicable Google Play payment, billing and purchase terms.
The applicable price and entitlement period are displayed to the user before purchase.
8. Acceptable Use
TagWhite products and services must be used only for lawful purposes.
You must not use TagWhite for fraudulent, abusive, misleading, harmful or unlawful activities, attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the service, or misuse TagWhite features to violate another person's rights.
9. Service Availability
We aim to provide reliable TagWhite services, but we do not guarantee that every service or feature will be available without interruption or error at all times.
Features may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, internet or telecom outages, third-party service interruptions, device limitations or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
10. Safety and Emergency Use
TagWhite provides safety and connectivity assistance features but is not a replacement for police, ambulance, fire, medical or other official emergency services.
In an emergency, users should contact the appropriate emergency service where possible.
11. Limitations
TagWhite services depend on various technical and third-party systems. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Refly Technology cannot guarantee that TagWhite will prevent every loss, theft, emergency, communication failure or other adverse event.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
12. Privacy
Information collected or processed through TagWhite is handled in accordance with the TagWhite Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains, among other things, how TagWhite handles personal information and location data associated with the optional Mobile Theft Protection feature.
13. Changes to Services and Terms
TagWhite may modify its products, services or these Terms & Conditions where reasonably necessary because of product, security, technical, operational or legal changes.
Updated Terms & Conditions will be published on this page with an updated effective date where appropriate.
